About

  • What am I all about?

I feel that all areas of life can and should be enjoyable, whether work or play. My philosophy is that with the right mindset of a positive mental attitude, we can reach any goal we have our mind set on and even enjoy working hard to get there. My goal is the bring that mindset to you so that you can accomplish anything.

  • What have I been up to?

I graduated from the University of Buffalo with a BA in Psychology and a MS in Rehabilitation Counseling. I have experience interning at an inpatient drug rehab facility. I am the former Program Coordinator of AutismUp. I have 5 years past experience as a volunteer Young Life leader, including two mission trips to El Salvador. I believe that my education, experiences, personality, and (most importantly) my attitude can play an integral role in helping you reach your goals.

  • What am I into?

My days are driven by my interests of nutrition, cooking, exercise, sports, music (particularly guitar and drums), photography, and a lot more. Of all of these I would say nutrition stands out the most. I find it fascinating how much control we have over our own health and longevity based solely on what eat, and one of my favorite hobbies is researching more about nutrition and other areas of wellness. One of my mantras is that if you want to feel great then eat right, sleep right, and exercise right. Sounds a lot like my list of hobbies, huh…

To balance my active days, my evenings often include pursuing my interest in technology. Growing up loved playing videogames and being the designated “tech support” role for my friends and family. That never changed, but since then I’ve built several PCs, both written and am hosting this website myself, and am learning other computer languages to program videogames in Unreal Engine 4 and Unity.

  • Who am I?

My name is John Koetter. I am undeservingly happily married and proud to be a dad with a beautiful baby girl. I love my family, owe it to them and the mentors I have in my life for who I am today.
